You did a great job making the map. I enjoyed it. One thing, I noticed that Switzerland was split according to the areas German/French/Italian is spoken. Spain split depending on the languages used, etc. Yet Ireland is deemed a country where we don’t speak English? Not quite correct. The vast majority of the country is Anglophone. Pink all over the island? No. This may have been true before 1600, but not now. https://www.google.com/url?sa=i&url=https%3A%2F%2Fen.wikipedia.org%2Fwiki%2FStatus_of_the_Irish_language&psig=AOvVaw2smXnlLCV2VteIXN2w5Zrz&ust=1613060269890000&source=images&cd=vfe&ved=0CAIQjRxqFwoTCIjs4PXb3-4CFQAAAAAdAAAAABAN
That aside, Great job.
Thanks a lot! And yes, you are right. Not only Irish, but many other languages on the map are barely spoken now. However the intention of the map is not at all to show where languages are spoken, just the diversity.
